Climate change is the most critical issue humanity has faced. The economic, social and environmental impacts that will accompany unabated temperature increases will affect individuals across geographical regions, political spectrums and ethnic divides. To keep the global mean temperature increase below the recommended 2 °C, a concerted international effort must be made to dramatically cut carbon emissions by mid-century. This will require a collaborative push of a magnitude rarely seen.
