Students
CMC is committed to enhancing the educational experience of the over 200 graduate students and postdocs (HQP) in its network. The Network ensures that HQP are well-prepared to meet the emerging demand for employees in clean energy and carbon management.
CMC has a number of programs for HQP in place or in the planning stages. The Network:
- Supports a network-wide students’ association.
- Provides opportunities for HQP to attend national and international conferences and workshops.
- Coordinates a national HQP Development Committee that works with industry and other academic and NGO partners to identify and forecast demand for employees in this field, the training they require, and the skills gaps.
- Provides networking opportunities with researchers, industry and other HQP at an annual conference.
