CMC 2012 Conference

This event is on 23 May 2012

CMC is hosting its second annual conference in Gatineau, Quebec from May 23 to 25, 2012. To reflect the national nature of the network, the conference will change venues each year. The first conference was held in Calgary, Alberta.

An exciting conference program has been developed featuring panel discussions and workshops on innovation, IP, and carbon management in Alberta’s oilsands.

New this year will be research presentations by project investigators, postdocs and graduate students. The conference will also feature a poster session, banquet and workshops. One highlight will be a science cafe discussion examining the variety of attitudes toward carbon capture and storage. Pre and post conference workshops for students are planned.

CMC 2013 Scientific Conference & Industry Forum

This event is on 3 June 2013

Carbon Management Canada’s 3rd annual scientific conference is being held this year at the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary.

The June 3-5 conference will integrate both the scientific conference and the industry forum. Originally scheduled for October 2012, the forum was postponed until 2013 so it could be held in conjunction with the annual conference. The forum will bring an exciting twist to the conference. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between researchers and technology developers and practitioners and end users.
